Canstruction isn't just the single largest food drive for St. Mary's, it's an event! We draw crowds, gather industry partners, and make the local TV, all to raise awareness of hunger in our communities through creativity, teamwork, and YOUR SUPPORT.
We use your sponsorship to cover costs of venue, equipment, materials, and added monetary donations to St. Mary's Food Bank.
Our returning Event Host for Phoenix Canstruction. AIA Phoenix Metro Chapter has supported Canstruction for many years, and took over as the event host in 2018. They’re involved in the day-to-day organization of the event, and serve as an active voice on the planning committee.
About
Each year the AEC industry participates in this official Canstruction Citywide Competition, where AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry professionals compete building structures made out of full cans of food which then get donated to St. Mary's Food Bank.
Each team is responsible for fundraising to obtain the cans they need to design their Canstruction masterpiece. The 2022 event will be held at Arrowhead Town Center.
